Styles MC

Born in Zambia on the 4th June 1980 as Malenge Terence Ngondo, Styles MC aka The Briefcase Bandit, The Glad Hand, The Sheriff, Kwacha & various other alias lived and studied there until he moved to England in 1990 for study purposes. There completed his General Certificate in Standard Education in 1996 and A- Levels in 1998 specialising in IT, Business & Theology.
Although never deciding to take up Music, Acting or the Arts academically Styles maintained a great interest in music and acting extracurricularly through choirs and School plays aswell as directing some. A passionate collector of Hiphop, RnB and Urban Dance music, on Holidays in Zambia in the late 90s he would regularly DJ (a hobby of his) for Cosmopolitan Night Club, Black Velvet night club and Sugar Shack Sounds to name a few.
He had his first vocal performance along side his brother, Dangerous Guy aka Your Daily Bred, at Zambia’s first major Hip Hop Competition ‘The Million Kwacha Rap Contest’ in October of 1998 hosted by Chisha Folotiya aka the Love Bug, (TV Presenter, ‘Carte Blanche’ of Mnet South Africa and owner of ‘Tiyende Magazine’ and ‘Mondo music', major brands in Zambia) and Trendsetters youth Magazine. This also allowed Styles MC the opportunity to do his first radio interviews and skits with Radio Phoenix 89.5 FM (still one of the largest private radio stations in Zambia today).
From 1999 to 2004 Styles continued to DJ at University and actually luanched an event promotion company called Unified Promotions for West End, London Urban music shows in 2003. Still continuing to write music and lyrics; writing songs for friends in College bands, he never recorded anything until back in Zambia in 2004.
Since then he has launched his own Music, Video and Fashion production enterprise under Bomb Shelter Entertainment in 2005; blending his eclectic and funky mix of Hip hop, RnB, Reggae, classical, and various Afro and dance music and his charismatic and comical character.
