As Bold As Youth

Vesre 1

- Oh, to be as bold as youth
to never be thought of as uncouth
to see everything for the first time
not knowing where to draw the line
where displeasure's measured by a simple whine
when all that seem to matter are the signs
when all you hear appears to be the truth
Oh, to be as bold as youth

Verse 2

- If I was as bold as youth
all that would matter would be the truth
everything said and done should be fair
justice dispensed with a simple stare
nobody would care what I wear
my way of life would not be compared
who would dare think of me as uncouth
oh, if I was as bold as youth
