Sign Of The Times
Sign Of The Times is a story that follows the lives of four different
groups of people as they interact and live out a summer that will
change their lives forever. Originally based in London, it seeks to
answer the questions that many of the characters and people in the
world may be asking themselves and uncover questions that they may
not have asked yet.
Dominic and Lemy

their first year of studies and work experience in London. This story
follows them through their final exams and end of year ball to their
first apartment and living and working experiences through the summer
including meeting each other’s parents. With a socially active
group of friends and a healthy appetite for good living, these two
guys find themselves in a variety of humourous and entertaining situations.
Karl and Gloria
Karl is a happily married middle-aged lawyer, or so it would seem,
with a son and his own practice. Gloria is a struggling single mother.
When an incident at their sons’ school brings them together,
it changes they’re their lives forever. Their summer promises
to be like non they have experienced before, if only for each other.
Sarah and Daniel
Sarah is a divorced, middle- aged Head teacher of a local school.
Dan is a young married science teacher who leaves his wife in Bangladesh,
to look after his terminally ill mother and teach at the local school.
This story follows Sarah through the end of year exams into her revamp
and re-introduction into the dating scene finding solace in the unlikeliest
of individuals. Dan’s story finds himself falling for Katie,
another member of staff and a living through a series of revelations
that leave him unable to decide whether to stay on with his mother
or return to his wife in Bangladesh.
Paul Travis is the young Mayor of the local district. His story takes
him from his re- election to Mayor and the political doubts he carries
with him through to the attack of his girlfriend and his turn to extreme
left wing political allies in an attempt to answer the disillusions
that continue to grow.
